"Way, way back many centuries ago, not long after the bible began..." So begins the rocking rendition of the biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors. Joseph is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams, and is the favorite son of his father, Jacob. This drives his many jealous brothers to sell him into slavery. Joseph is taken to Egypt, where he endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. Joseph's gift of interpreting dreams becomes his salvation.

Set to an amazing range of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this old testament tale emerges as both timely and timeless.
