Thanks so much,

T-shirts, t-shirts, t-shirts!! Your cast member is adorable. So are you. You and your adorable cast member will be the best advertising yet -- veritable walking billboards -- wearing your shirts at school, at work, around town. People will flock to the show after you pass them out a handy business card (you have them in your purse or wallet, right?! If not pick some up this weekend) and the run to their computer to order tickets. By the time the show comes around, we expect that t-shirt to be so well-worn it could walk by itself. WHAT IS A CAST BIO?
A cast bio is a short paragraph about each cast member. It is written in the third person. It usually includes name, age, current role, performance history and personal information. Example:

John Rodriguez is 10 years old and plays the part of Schoolboy Sam. This is his third time on stage. Previous productions include Peter Pan (Lost Boy) and Oliver! (member of Fagin’s gang). John is in 5th grade at Sunny Brook Farms Elementary School. When he is not on stage he enjoys playing the trumpet, reading science fiction, and riding his skateboard. John thanks his parents and family for their support during this production.

Please e-mail your bio to bios@piedpiperplayers.org

7. Ad Sales- from our ad sales committee
Hi Everyone,

Please consider placing an ad in the upcoming Wonderland! playbill. Approximately 2,000 people see the playbill. It’s a great way to advertise a business or other service. It’s also a great way to congratulate cast members and staff for all their amazing work!

Starting soon at rehearsals we will have a poster board up with examples of various ads from different shows. Please take a moment to look at them. Attached are the forms for ad sales with costs, examples of sizes and where to submit the info to.

We can design your ad for you for an additional fee.

Please contact me with any questions about ads. All monies raised go to support the cost of the production.

Thanks!

Davida

3. Raffle
Dear Wonderland cast families,

My name is Frankie Hebert and I’m very excited to be working with Phyllis
Lundardi on the Raffle committee for Wonderland.

Rehearsals for Wonderland have started and the raffle donation request
letters have been sent out and I’ve already received a few donations, so
we’re off to a good start. I’m writing today to ask for your help in
bringing in more prizes for our raffle.

I know that we're all so busy right now, but please keep this email around
as a reminder to ask a relative or local business that you frequent if they
would like to donate a gift or service to help out our raffle. I want to
give you as much time as possible to help make our Wonderland raffle a huge
success. For some of you this may be an easy request. You may have family
or friends that you can ask if they would be interested in donating a gift
or service that we could use for our raffle. For others, like myself, it
means reaching out whenever you get the chance and asking the businesses you
frequent if they would like to make a donation for our raffle. You'll be
surprised at how many would be delighted to donate. Especially when they
know that their donation will benefit the kids of our community.

I’m also attaching the ‘official' donation request letter for you to give to
any business that requires one prior to making a donation. Whether or not a
donation letter is given, a 'thank you' letter will be sent out for every
donation we receive, so please remember to include with all donations the
mailing address details and the person that should be thanked. Our 'thank
you' letter will provide the non-profit tax ID number that can be used at
the end of the year for tax purposes. You can bring any raffle prizes to
any rehearsal and give them to Phyllis Lundardi or you can leave them with
Paula and they will get to me to be added to the other prizes.

If asking for donations is not for you, then the next time you’re in the
supermarket, go ahead and pick up a gift card from the wide assortment
available there. I’m sure someone would be glad to win it.
To make our raffle a success, we need lots of people to buy raffle tickets
and the best way to do that is to have LOTs of great raffle prizes!!

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I appreciate the time
you will be taking from your busy days to reach out to others in your
family, friends and community.

If I can answer any questions you may have, please don't hesitate to send me
an email….. frankiehebert@comcast.net

Thanks,
Frankie

fairly cheap recorder at a Rite Aid or Circuit City type store. This will
allow cast members to record parts of the vocal rehearsal and go back and
practice with the tape at home.
